Dr. Subrat Sahu
I am an experimental physicist working on the generation and applications of quantum emitters for device applications. The goal of my research is to study the interaction of light with photonic nanostructures and nanowires.
I joined the Nanophotonics and Plasmonics lab in 2019. I received my M.Sc degree from Berhampur University in 2019.
Dr. Satyajit Murmu
I am working on quantum photonics. The goal of my research is to understand the interaction of light
with defect centres in crystals for quantum metrology and communications applications.
I joined the Nanophotonics and Plasmonics lab in 2019 after completing my M.Sc degree from
North Orissa University in 2018.
Binod Kumar Patra
I am an experimental physicist working on exploiting light-matter interaction in photonic structures.
I joined the Nanophotonics and Plasmonics lab in 2023. I received the gold medal for my
M.Sc.degree from Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, Odisha, in 2022.
Golak Bihari Bage
I am a research scholar interested in investigating fundamental light-matter interaction in resonator-based systems, and their potential applications.
I joined the Nanophotonics and Plasmonics lab in Autumn 2023, and completed my MSc in 2024 from IIT Bhubaneswar.

I am a research scholar working on advanced fiber interferometry techniques for industrial applications.
I joined the Nanophotonics and Plasmonics lab in Autumn 2026, and completed my MSc in 2024 from Maharaja Sriramchandra Bhanjadeo University, Baripada, Odisha.
