Dr. Archana Kumari Singh
I am an experimental and theoretical physicist with a research focus on nanoparticle interactions within soft material matrices. My techniques for synthesizing nanomaterials include sol-gel processing, chemical co-precipitation, and hydrothermal methods. For theoretical investigations, I employ density functional theory (DFT) and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations.

I joined the Nanophotonics and Plasmonics lab in 2024. I have received my doctorate degree from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur in 2023.

Basudev Maharana
I am an experimental physicist working on energy storage systems. The goal of my research is to develop a economical, highly efficient storage system and integrate it to plasmonic solar cells to build a photo-supercapacitor.

I am an experimental physicist working on the generation and applications of quantum emitters for device applications. The goal of my research is to study the interaction of light with photonic nanostructures and nanowires.

I am working on quantum photonics. The goal of my research is to understand the interaction of light with defect centres in crystals for quantum metrology and communications applications.

Pratik Mishra
I am working on integrated stretchable and flexible skin-like wearable and renewable system based on advanced materials for futuristic device development.
I joined the Nanophotonics and Plasmonics lab in 2020 (Jan). after completing my M.Sc from Midnapore College (Autonomous) in 2017.

Arvind Kumar Maurya
I am an experimental physicist in the Nanophotonics and Plasmonics Lab since January 2021, specializing in advanced fiber interferometry techniques for industrial applications. My research focuses on developing new types of fiber-optic sensors by combining existing sensor technologies with innovative methods to enhance their applicability in industrial environments. I earned my M.Sc. degree from Lucknow University in 2019.
